Take a closer look at trees; It's amazing what they have to teach
us about growth, anticipation, strength and flexibility. When we notice
these qualities is when we notice that within ourselves we carry those
same attributes.
The 16th Street Mall was designed by famed architect I.M. Pei. The pedestrian promenade is made of red, white and gray granite in a repeating pattern when, seen from above resembles the skin of a diamondback rattlesnake. This area of Denver is rich in history and a fun place to see at Christmas.
Prior to 1950 the fashionable Daniels and Fisher Department Store was the crown jewel of the Denver skyline. In the 1960's after financial ruin the building was set to be destroyed. The flagship store was demolished, but due to immense effort from preservationists the grand clock tower was saved.
