Bourbon and Glass

S IV Makers Mark Distillery

The fermenting room at MM distillery a batch that is forming the alcohol. The taste reminded me of Granny Smith apples and the smell was delightful. The symbol "S IV" means Samuel's family fourth generation in distilling whisky. A must see place if you are visiting Kentucky. The pictures were taken at this amazing venue.

Backyard Vine

Look around things are always evolving, each minute different from the next. Some moments are more beautiful than others. Stay focused; if you spend time remembering the past
or imagining the future, you might miss the beauty that is now.

Moments of Letting Go

"If the lake sees the ocean it will want big waves! If the ocean sees the lake, it
wants calm days that last years!     ~Mehnet Ilhan~

Old vs new coexisting for man and animal.

Importance of Wind

Pawnee Buttes

What I'm learning, however, the greatest of pleasure comes unexpectedly, wending its way into the heart before the judgmental mind has its say. Standing on the prairie looking at the vast grasslands that once carried early settlers to their destination, listening to various birds that dominate the land, and feeling the immense solitude in which the mind has no say; the silent presence calls you to the here and now.

Colorado High

I love the color, texture, and composition of this beautiful lake. Taken last week with winds of 60 miles and hour and wind chill of zero. Mt Evans, the highest paved road in America. Registering at 14,134 feet.
