A Guiding Light on Tybee Island

                          We think our guiding light is "out there somewhere" because we cannot conceive that it is within us. So we search in vain until we search within. 

A Meeting Place

                                South Carolina sits in the middle of the Bible Belt of America. Some churches are small, barely able to hold five people and the pastor. There are those that could be classified as castles. They are huge, glorious pieces of architecture that reach epic proportions. Whether big or small all of them are beautiful in their own way. Holding history in the very existence of time.

Beyond our Zone

      The benefit of traveling beyond our native zone is to remind ourselves that other lives look nothing like our own---yet we share so much in spite of losses and joys, the rising and setting of the sun. Though we may choose to place ourselves in beautiful surroundings, it will still be our personality that leaves the more lasting impression.

Island Feathers

         ~Live in such a way you would not be embarrassed to sell your parrot to the town gossip!~

    These parrots live on Hilton Head Island attracting many spectators as they pass by. Maybe 

     descendents of the pirates that came near the island many years ago. At least that 

     was a thought that crossed my mind. Probably not, but unmistakably beautiful.
