Lush Profusion

                             Drinking in the lush profusion, my thirsty soul releases a call to follow a path 

                                     that might lead to comfort and light and its endless quest for more. A call to depth need not be a call to darkness.

Natural Bird Feeder

            The Cedar Waxwings arrived and are enjoying the abundance of berries on the trees. They  arrive about this time every year and as soon as they have devoured the berries they too are gone. It is such a delight to watch and observe these beautiful birds.

Reflection

                           It may be easier to remember how magical the world is when you live

                      on an island, or in the woods, or even in a large city, but truth be told the

                      magic really resides within: what and how you see is but a reflection of

                      your own magical soul.

Blessed

  Blessed be the spirit that encapsulates and surrounds us, that is in us, and is one with everything in the universe. May the human consciousness move closer to preparing the ground of being for the experience of living in unity, a oneness where all of the spectrum of life simply is.

Pretty in Peach

           Pink or peach the stucco house in the photos above was built by John and Bartha Moulton. This is the orginial log home they built when they first settled in the Gros Ventre area. I often wonder what the Moultons would say about having the most photographed structures in the United States/World.

Iconic Barns

Historic John and TA Moulton barns along Mormon Row

       Mormon Row is located near Kelly Wyoming. Mormon Row was established by 27 settlers  in the 1890's. The settlers homesteaded in the Gros Ventre area because of  relatively fertile soil and access to the Gros Ventre River.  The two most photographed barns in the world are the two that are seen above. Photographers from around the world stop to capture the iconic historic structures with the Teton Range in the background. While I was photographing, a group from England was filming a network special on the barns and the surrounding area for their network in England. The beauty and history of this area is captivating and reminds me of how fortunate it is to be an American.  

   

The Search for Real and True

                    However far afield we travel in our search for what's 
                                              real and true,
                    however lonely that road may seem to be,
                       remember this: the earth and the sky are always
                       right there with you, grounding you, and enfolding
                                               you in light.
