Holy Week -- the exhilaration of the beginning, the impatience in the temple,
the humility of Maundy Thursday, the agony of the cross, the waiting -- both in
the garden, and by the tomb -- and the rejoicing in glory that illuminates its
completion -- encapsulates that whole growth process year after year. Just as these beautiful daffodils express beginning, impatience, awe, rejoicing, and death. To be able to see this process in our lives or in the life of the beautiful flowers placed on this earth, is truly a blessing that was given to us by a power greater than ourselves.
